Education is gold!

For the last three Fridays, it was great meeting the elementary school students of Hooker Oak School, and presenting to them the value and importance of education. We started with the 12 to 16 year olds, then the 8-10s and finally the little 6-8 year olds. They are so cute!

I encouraged the children to take advantage of the opportunity given to them. ‘Education’ which isn’t given to all children around the world. Such investment in children is the best, most lasting and sustainable investment we must always make. They are, trust me, the future leaders, yes Congress, the Senate, the teachers, doctors, CEOs, ministers, and on. I tried to leave four keys ideas with each of the groups of children, who were joined by their teachers and some of their parents, keys that when used together will open doors to life with dignity. Here they are:

* Obedience to their Parents and Teachers
* Determination
* Courage
* Perseverance
