Feeding Nations Through Education is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works to relieve famine and raise literacy by equipping West African villagers with bulls, plows, clean water, and training in sustainable agriculture, so they can grow enough food to sell a surplus to fund their children’s education.
Our aim is simple: to help people help themselves. Our model empowers the poor to become generous through a pay-it-forward economy. Every recipient of our programs is lifted out of extreme poverty, becomes financially independent, and is able to pay the gift they received forward to another.
We equip the people of Burkina Faso in such a way that they will be self sufficient from our initial gift. Education is the key to sustainable development. In every one of our programs, training and education are at the heart of what we do. As a charity, we don’t want to create long-term dependence on outside assistance. Instead, we are building a local infrastructure and raising up local leaders who can make a long lasting difference in their communities.
